We have now moved full time to Florida after spending six wonderful years in Hawaii and 27 years living and cruising outside of my native America - 20 years in the Caribbean, 3 years in South America and several years of cruising the Bahamas, Panama, Central America and Mexico. I keep this website hoping to bring my family and friends closer together - to share the happenings of our lives with each other - whether it be stories, pictures, letters, art, weavings, poems or genealogy. Because this website has grown over the years I now have divided it into five parts.
1. Swan Song - our home, family, cruising, travels, news and views.
2. Articles I have written and fun photos of the BVI and other Caribbean locations.
3. Yacht Racing on our Newport 30', Makani Kai, Art and hobbies
4. Family - The Terrells, Longneckers, Coopers, Clendenins, Garretts, Grimes & Riddles.
5. My immediate family, Mike and Greg, their wives, children, homes and genealogy. You can follow the darker boxes listed above to find your interest. Please scroll down on the gold arrow under the each boxes. Thank You, Nancy

OUR NEW HOME IN FLORIDA - WE LOVE IT.
MAHALO TO ALL OF OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS IN HAWAII. WE TOTALLY ENJOYED OUR SIX YEARS IN YOUR BEAUTIFUL STATE.
A real tribute was paid to me recently when the Hawaii Panhellenic Association honored me as
"The Delegate of the Year" for 2013. I have represented Kappa Kappa Gamma with them for the past three years. I was deeply touched as this was presented in front of 150 HAPA members & guests at their Annual Luncheon "The Mad Hatters Teaparty" at the Oahu Country Club on May 4. Thank you, Ladies.
Thirty-five of my collages were on exhibition for the month of October 2018 at the Alliance of the Arts in Ft. Myers, Florida. It was totally thrilling to see so many together in such a large Exhibition Hall

It is one thing to be honored in your own country, but to be honored by another is really special. As a writer for many international magazines and newspapers for some twenty years, Venezuela Travel (where we lived from 2006 - 2009) presented me with this lovely Certificate of Appreciation for representing the industry of yachting in their country. They have some of the most beautiful waters ever.
